„I think books are like people, in the sense that they’ll turn up in your life when you most need them.“ – Emma Thompson

1. The Alchemist

by Paul Coelho

This work of art is about a deep transformative story of a young boy on his own ‘Hero’s journey’.

The ‘Hero’s journey’, a concept of psychiatrist Dr. Carl Jung, is a deep mental, emotional and spiritual actualization of an individual’s search and finding of their own „treasure“ or in other words of realizing their own potentials.

This book will take you deeply into energy field of the collective consciousness.

You might experience an inner transformation/alchemy along the way of absorbing the journey of the young boy – which can possibly be a reflection of your own potential journey.

In hopes you’ll find collect your courage to go after your calling in order to find your own treasure!

2. The undiscovered Self

by Carl Jung

I first came across this book right after my first and tremendously profound spiritual awakening (Kundalini rising) in summer 2020. It’s like my soul wanted me to move towards the possibility of me considering that there is way more to life than what the eyes can see. I have had this comprehension before through certain spiritual experiences, yet I guess the Divine truly needed me to be mentally prepared for such a profound experience.

This book talks about the essence of the soul from a psychological perspective.

So, if you are a person that is very much grounded in the material and scientific world with a skeptical and analyzing mind, and need a rooted approach for the idea of further possibilities and the unknown, then this book might be a starting point for mind-expanding discoveries.

3. Triggers: How We Can Stop Reacting and Start Healing

by David Richo

This book is a wonderful guide for observing one’s triggers and finding healthier, alternative ways of expression and communication, instead of reacting from the emotion a specific trigger may cause.

It is a book that causes high introspection and serves higher perspectives; it is simply a very practical tool for one’s desire to emotionally mature and grow.

It definitely has added to my emotional growth immensely. Let’s g(r)o(w)!

4. Big Magic

by Elizabeth Gilbert

Hahh.. What an inner-spark-awakening book! Chances are that you’ll feel a buzzing energy of excitement; namely, inspiration flowing through you, while reading this.

This miraculous guide will most probably make you feel in awe for creativity’s magical source.

It is a very playfully and friendly written work of art; thus, it is very easy to read.

The ideas and notions are conveyed in a very clear and comprehensible way.

Let yourself take you through the wonders and joy of getting to know creativity a little bit closer!

These are a few of my all-time-favorite books. If you’re seeking for resources and tools for your personal growth, these books might be magnificent guides on your path of self-discovery!

Love and Peace, ✨
